My name is Sandra von Riekhoff. I was born in Canada and after a bit of a nomadic life modelling and living in Paris and Tokyo, I moved to the UK in 2002. after I studied fashion design I ended up in the world of luxury fashion as a buyer before becoming a bit fed up. the creative call was loud. I picked up a camera in a serious way in 2006, with a 3 year career exclusively shooting fashion. by 2011 three kids had appeared on my lap within the space of 23 months. the fashion work was tricky so my wedding career emerged thanks to a nice little start at a friend’s wedding in Italy…I have been doing it ever since.
I am wildly grateful to the incredibly talented team of assistant and associate photographers I now work with. The assistants join me on the day to help me out, while my uber talented and experienced associate photographers shoot without me but with our unique Divine Day eye. Half the magic is in the editing afterwards which I do personally.
I take a very limited number of weddings on these days as we are expanding into more education and coaching which I love. It is wildly rewarding to help nudge + guide others into their own unique careers as successful photographers and artists.
